In addition to Private Duty and Medicare home care we cover most insurances. Effective September 1st, 2011 Firstat has been designated as the preferred provider in the greater Orlando Area (Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties) for the following insurances: Blue Cross – Blue Shield, Aetna, WellCare, Cigna, Great West, and Beech Street.

In addition, we cover the following health insurances: Humana, Care Plus, Quality Health Plan, Ameri-Group, Physicians United Plan (PUP), TRICARE, United Healthcare, Secure Horizons, and Evercare.

Don’t forget workers comp and of course Medicare.

Firstat’s Number One goal in patient home care is preventing home care patients from being readmitted to hospitals. The national rate in the U.S. is alarming in the fact that one in five seniors is rehospitalized within 30 days of being discharged from a hospital; that is 20 percent. Be assured that Firstat’s record is less than a fraction of that.
